Beautiful words from graduating students in the Yoga NH Teacher Training/Develop Your Practice Program.

"Maureen, I wanted to say thank you for this past weekend. As always, I learned a great deal. I'm grateful for the opportunity to take your teacher training and for all of the knowledge that you share.

You are an inspiration, a role model, and a true teacher in every sense of the word. You told us last February that teacher training leads to life changes. I love the way that my life has transformed since that time and all of the beautiful changes that continue to unfold."

"The way you present the information always seems to fit into place so beautifully - the philosophy, the postures.  I can always tell how much preparation you put into your lessons. Thanks for being such a great teacher. You have taught me so much this past year and I am so grateful. I thank you for your knowledge."

There are many teacher training programs in the central NH area to choose from,
why choose Yoga NH?

Flexibility
Join the program at any point – no need to wait for a starting date that is months away.  Try a session and see if it resonates for you.  And if you have a busy life or unpredictable schedule, it’s ok to miss a session – we’ll discuss how to make up hours/material.

Price
I periodically check other programs to make sure I am offering rates that are in line with other programs and usually find Yoga NH rates are much less.  Also, you can pay as you go rather than some programs that require hundreds or thousands of dollars up front.  I’m realistic – the program will work for some and not for others and so, if it does not work for you, for any reason, you are paying by the session – so no major financial commitment up front - that you may lose.

Experience
This is my 6th year running the program and I learn something new each year, which I integrate into the following year.  Additionally, I owned a studio for 5 years and ran a state-wide human service agency for over 10 years, so I know the logistics of running a business.  This is helpful for running any business – for the viability of it and in this case – for information I share with you so that when you get ready to teach, you know how to do that successfully.  In terms of my experience as a yoga teacher and yoga teacher training, I have many references that I can provide, at your request.  Some comments can be found on the website.

Advice
I mentor all graduates of the program.  So while you are in the program, I work with you to make sure you are getting what you need for the population you think you will want to teach.  And when you graduate, I am available to answer questions and give advice about how to open a studio, how to market yourself as an individual teacher who teaches at multiple locations, etc.  And if/when you encounter individual situations that you want to process in order to serve your students in a way that contributes to your, or their, growth - I’ll be here for you.
